Monk

Just when I thought the sunset colours and view could not get any better, the company of monks made for a perfect moment and capture.   — with  Moe Elrifai  in  Sigiriya, Sri Lanka .

The sun had set and time got the better of us, my friend and I were the only ones remaining at the top of Sigiriya. The last remaining moments of light we came across 4 monks that we had befriended earlier. There was a surreal moment makin g our way back down the 1202 steps in darkness, being guided by monks illuminating our path with the light from their mobiles. Jumping fences and slightly disorientated we all made it safely to the bottom. We thanked our new friends and said goodbye smiling, one monk took a liking to my friend  Moe  and had even asked for his number .

The perfect ending to a perfect day.
