Early morning in Thailand with lone worker on pier and fisherman hoping to get an early catch. The air was warm, the water still and the clouds filtered the light to create a dream like scene.

About an hour before the tsunami hit   Sri Lanka   in 2004, people at the   Yala National Park   observed elephants running away from Patanangala beach (pictured).     There was moments of reflection when visiting the site. I found it hard to really   understand the magnitude of the disaster with it being such a peaceful and calm place to visit. Sri Lanka was one of the worst hit with over 40,000 people killed and over half a million displaced.     Olympus AU  OM-D E-M1 + 75mm f/1.8

Bird’s eye view of worker from The Peak, Hong Kong. A well deserved break from the heat and job well done.

Early morning rise in   Sri Lanka   hoping to catch a glimpse of some whales. The harbour with its endless boats and subtle light from sunrise made for a painting like image.     There are people in this photo but it’s a bit like Where’s Wally? Olympus AU   E-M1 + 12-60mm f/2.8
